Take Surveys For Cash Scam Review

There is a new kid on the block. Jason White self-proclaimed “King of paid surveys, selling a membership that gives you access to a “list” of the best surveys to take in order to receive cash. So… what is Take Surveys For cash? It is a scam. I have been down this road before and let me tell you it is not pretty. Nor is it profitable. It isn’t even worth it for a part-time job to fill out surveys for cash.

Here is what they would like you to believe will happen if you buy a membership to their list of survey companies who pay cash. Not just any old cash, but large amounts of cash. Hah!!

comp

I am a survivor of taking online surveys and I am here to tell you, it will never happen !!!!

It Starts With An Email

takesurveys8.png.1I have a special email account that I use specifically to catch unsolicited emails inviting me to participate in one scam or another. The latest is this one from TakeSurveysForCash.com

Upon closer examination, you will see there are two links provided. They are for two different things.

A) The link which will transport me to the TakeSurveysForCash.com  “website”

B) This link will take me to a page for a list generator called “List Spark” more on that  later

Jason White’s “Secret Method”

Mr. King of surveys claims to know something about surveys that we don’t and he is willing to “share” this secret information with us. For a small fee of course. What a guy. These altruistic types really bring a tear to my eye when I read about how selfless they are.

 takesurveys16

I don’t know about you, but if I stumbled on some great big secret that was helping me to make lots and lots of money, I don’t think I would be selling, oops, I mean sharing this information with anyone except the people closest to me. That would be it.

However, there is no secret. It is just another ploy to get you to let him “share” his secret with you. Guess how much he shares it for? The low, low price of $39 or $27 or $12, depending on how many times you try to click away from the page.

Eternally grateful Jason.

Now let’s have us a closer look at a $500 dollar check he displays for us to drool over.

takesurveys15

Upon closer inspection, if you look to where the arrow points, you will see that this is one of those sample checks that are sent to tell you what it could be like. It pretty much states that they want you to contact SurveyConnect so that you can join SurveySavvy in order to be able to receive checks like this one.

“Desperate” Survey Companies

takesurveys2.png.1

Survey companies are not desperate. If anything, they have too many people to choose from. So much so, that they can afford to be really picky about who they choose for participation. And trust me, they are very picky.

More Lies

Here is something else I wanted to show you.

jason white take surveys for cash review

Now here, Jason claims you will receive a $50 bonus after you take your first paid survey. What he doesn’t tell you is it won’t exactly be in the form of cash. I have experienced this before so I am telling you what will more than likely occur. You will probably receive a $50 gift card to something like Amazon.com or something equally non-cash like. Then you have to jump through all kinds of hoops to get it.

I tried that once and I was told I would have to sign up with at least three other companies for free trials ( each one requiring a credit card ) I’m sorry, but I just don’t see how that is beneficial to me. All I wanted to do was make some money. Is that too much to ask?

Earnings Disclaimer

I cannot stress this enough, Anytime something comes to your emailbox that looks remotely like this page they send you to (especially unsolicited emails) always , always scroll all the way to the bottom to look for a disclaimer. Here is what I found on this one. One fact I will share with you is that this particular disclaimer comes in a can. I have seen it placed on the pages of numerous scams I have checked out. Look at this:

Jason white take surveys for cash review

jason white take surveys for cash review

This pretty much self-explanatory. I feel no need to offer further comments.

If it sounds like I am openly hostile about these online surveys, it is because I am. I wasted quite a bit of time trying to make money with these things. The problem is that so many people write about online surveys as the best way to make money online and it is simply not true.

Do yourself  a favor and don’t get mixed up in this crap. You won’t make anything that is worth the time you put into it. Hell, most companies don’t even pay you in cash. They pay you with points. Once you collect a certain amount of points, you can redeem them for rewards and gifts. Kind of like Swagbucks. But that’s another story. I am not interested in points, I am interested in cash.

Here’s The Kicker !!

He offers an affiliate program. ( What’s this? )

jason white trake surveys for cash review

What I want to know is, if  he’s making so much money with his little “secret system” why does he feel the need to offer an affiliate program?  Not to mention his outlandish claim of their top affiliate pulling down $100,000 per month. What do you think?

Here’s What I Think

I believe it is truly possible to make $100,000 with affiliate marketing. I really do. It all depends on how hard you are willing to work. But I don’t think it is possible by trying to market this pile of dung. There will always be me and people like me who will warn the public against  this type of bulls@#%.

What do I think is the best way to make money online?  By becoming an affiliate marketer. Yeah, that is where the money is. But you can’t just run right out and become an affiliate marketer. No, no, no. You must first learn how. It requires a certain set of skills which need to be learned.

What would you say, if I told you I found a way to literally, make $10 in 10 minutes, over
    and over again?
What if I then told you, it was fun, anyone can do it, and you can do it right from yourcomputer?

Listen Naveed…I removed the link you inserted in your comment. This is not a place to try and drum up some business. People like you get on my last nerve. Surveys are cool and I make a little extra every month. But you shouldn’t pay for aa so called “list of the “good” survey companies.” Anybody can do surveys, but you can’t do them unless you fit a specific demographic profile. STOP LEAVING LINKS(which will never be posted)ON MY WEBSITE!!!

It is nothing but a big scam. They offer a guarantee if in two months no paid surveys have been received, but when one claims they do not even respond. They are thiefs.

    Reply
    1. Polly Post author

I agree Patricia. Surveying is touch and go at best. It has been my experience that most, not all but most survey companies don’t really offer much in compensation. Instead offering a point system to trade in for rewards. Most rewards are gift cards and such. Not cash. I am interested in cash only. But hey that’s just me.
When companies offer surveys, they are looking for a very specific demographic depending on the survey and if you don’t fall into a specific profile, then it doesn’t how much money you pay for a supposed exclusive list. If you don’t fit the demographic guidelines they don’t really want your opinion. See ya.

THANK YOU SO VERY MUCH!!! I saw a lot of these types of scams several years ago, I can’t believe people are still falling for them! However, (almost in the same breath, Lol!), my daughter showed me this one and I told her to google the name and see if it is a scam and she came across your review. I cannot thank you enough, these scammers should be run off the internet because they take advantage time and time again of innocent people looking to make some extra money. I almost wonder if he advertises such a “huge payday” for his affiliate program, only to scam affiliates out of their leads, it wouldn’t be that far off considering his initial contact with folks is a scam and unsolicited to boot!, which is unethical to begin with!! Again, I am so very grateful that you and others take the time to share the truth, I trust you are helping many folks keep their hard-earned money! : ))

Wealthy Affiliate is the best affiliate marketing training in the world. These guys have got it goin’ on.

The first 19 lessons are free. At the end of these 10 lessons, you will have accomplished several objectives the most important one being you will have a website built and live on the internet!

One activity required is writing. Writing articles and posting to the internet. Of course there is more to it than that but that is what affiliate marketing consists of.

And Sandra, don’t worry about being new. we were all new at one time.

Is WA similar to Vic Striezhus 4Percent Group where you join for monthly fee and then they offer other affiliate programs like GetResponse, Tecademics, Click Funnels, Namecheap,ClickMagic that will help generate other income from their affiliate programs?

No, not at all. Wealthy Affiliate encourages and helps you to develop your very own marketing niche. They teach how to apply to be an affiliate at larger websites and companies. But no, they do not offer a list of affiliate programs.

If a member is undecided, then they are offered a chance to become an affiliate of Wealthy Affiliate and Jaaxy Keyword research tool.

    1. Polly Post author

Heh, heh, heh. I can understand why you would jump to that conclusion and as I have mentioned before, everybody has the right to their own opinion, and the right to express it. That is the main reason I post pretty much every comment I receive(and I receive many)and let me just say you are not the first(and most certainly not the last)person to express such an opinion.

I also understand the suspicious nature of these particular comments because I have been there and I know how difficult it is to wade through the digital sludge inherent on the web in order to find a worthwhile money making opportunity. I consider myself to have been fortunate enough not to be included among the millions of people who have(and unfortunately) continue to spend money on scam after scam until they have no financial resources left to expend.

I am not offering a scam. I am offering an opportunity to others who are truly interested in LEARNING how to generate a stable, reliable source of income from the worldwide web. The invitation to experience WA with a free starter membership is genuine. No hidden fees, no credit card information to hold hostage, no pressure and no expectations.

While it’s true .I receive a commission from referrals that join WA through one of the links on my website, I only receive said commission when the offer to join as a premium member is accepted. I sleep well at night knowing I have not deceived anyone in order to make my commissions

    1. Polly Post author

Most definitely. Selling something online isn’t just about developing a website and publishing. There is an extreme amount of information on the internet.. Most times one particular subject can take up to 400 pages with 10 entries on each page. That’s like 4000 websites all talking about the same thing.

Just like in the physical business arena it’s all about location. If your website is located on page 30 position 39 not many people are going to see it. It’s important to be able to rank your website so that it shows up on at least the first three pages of Google.

Wealthy Affiliate happens to be very good at teaching just that. Also niche marketing is their specialty.

Happy to help. There are some survey sites that are legit. For instance Opinion outpost is a good one. It isn’t the only one but what you want to watch out for is those “survey” sites that try to get you to spend money on “offers you might like” The idea is to make money not spend money. Any legit company will always mention the fact that taking surveys is not a way to replace your sustainable income. They are good for supplementing your current income.

On the other hand, affiliate marketing.(see definition) once learned correctly can definitely replace your current income once you get the hang of it. For a broader definition of affiliate marketing check out this article. Let me know if you have any more questions

I kind of get the blog/writing several times a day/week etc. promotes traffic, but where do you make money?

Sorry to ask direct, its just before I commit to a monthly subscription or any subscription paid or free, I want to be sure I’m not just lining the pockets of a clever Guru in the cloud?

      Hey there Ray,
I’ll probably do a Clickbank review in the near future. I have another reader ask me the same thing.
First of all here is a refresher of the definition of affiliate marketing.
To answer your question, WA offers two online courses. The ” Online Entrepreneur Certification Course”In this course they start from the basics. From building the site itself to signing up as an affiliate to a company to sell their products. Such as Amazon. The only reason I mention that is because I know a guy personally who makes $10,000 a month As an affiliate for them.
They teach you how to take a hobby or something you are very interested in and show you how to turn that into a money maker.Golf, cooking, shoes, fashion, mountain biking, camping, you know whatever. It can be anything. The key is to learn how to become an affiliate marketer and all that entails. WA has absolutely everything you need to learn about it and become successful at it.

The second course is called “Affiliate Bootcamp”. This is where they teach you to become an affiliate of WA itself. Rather intense. This is what I chose.

There are over 200,000 members and trust me not all of them are WA affiliates.

And really Ray this is what the free trial is about after all. to see if they ARE a clever Guru in the cloud. You’ll never learn anything if you never do anything.

I think Florin hit the nail straight on the head. Ha !! You and your people please stop sending me endless emails. I’m tired of reading emails I get as a result of clicking on “click here”. If you all just scroll down to the bottom of this page you will see WA has another link to a “7 day free trial ” to their program. Thought it was free? The “affiliate” who emails me is “Jenny Lewis “. Poly, I noticed you got a few hairs up when someone called you on WA being a scam! Truth is you probably also make your money in the exact same way you claim the scammers do and to be honest every email I get sounds just a little more desperate than the one before. I wonder if my comment here will be posted? ?

I don’t know any jenny Lewis, but I do know I haven’t sent you any emails. The only reason you’re getting them is because you filled it in somewhere. If you want to get rid of it, just look around on the bottom of the next one for the opt-out option. As for the rest of it, you know not of what you speak. I forgive you.

It occurs to me that a website populated with affiliate links will not earn you a dime if you do not get traffic. The only way I believe you can generate traffic to your website is to pay for advertisements. So if one does not have a bunch of money lying around for advertising no one will be clicking on those affiliate links.

    Reply
    1. Polly Post author

Well then it is apparent that you have no idea what is going on. Yes it is important to receive traffic, but there is more than one way to generate it. Have you ever heard of organic search traffic? It is traffic generated from keywords inputted to search engines. And do you know what it means to rank an article on Google. Of course you don’t otherwise you never would have made the statement you did. Wealthy Affiliate teaches all these things and more. It is better to remain silent and be thought a fool than to open ones mouth and assure to everyone he is a fool.

As soon as i am offered that kind of income in just filling in a survey, i quickly search the web in google, and i found a lot of references about that particular web. Personally i agree with u, but for me, since i haven’t registered it (because most of my friends did :D) i can not really say anything, but there is something interesting in the disclaimer that u highlighted.

    Thanks for the information.

    Hi Polly,

I’ve read all the above comments and elsewhere on the Survey for Cash System.
Read it is a system where you pay and they direct you to survey companies. There is a person I have been speaking to on facebook and did say I have been reading it is a scam. Person said it is not and is a lie. Also posted proof on payments sent to her from paypal a summary with her name on it and her photo. Also another one with just the payments and other text. They both have high amounts made on them. Indicates what survey companies paid her. Not sure if this is made by someone else or legit. I read one of the survey companies has a A+ rating with the BBB. Which means that all are not bad then. ScamX poser said Survey for cash systems is a scam to avoid it and that Wealthy Affilate is top rated. Does anyone know where the Survey for Cash system is located, in what state to see what the BBB says on it?

    Reply
    1. Polly Post author

The system is a scam. They are taking money for something you can easily find online with a little time and effort. Although doing online surveys are not a way to make a living and most likely will never produce a full-time income. I have made a little money myself with online surveys. But it is supplemental and a for the survey companies, they themselves will tell you that this is not to produce a full-time income. The most money I ever made was a real time survey that took an hour and a half. For that I was paid $35. But those don’t always happen. It is like anything else. You have to work long hours doing it. My real job is affiliate marketing. That’s where the real money is.

I work just as long as taking surveys but the benefits and cash are so much better. Believe me I know.

      1. Polly Post author

The BBB is bullshit. Yes I have known for quite some time ratings can be bought. In fact, they must be bought or you will get a bad rating. This is one of the reasons why I never invoke them. It is all a scam.

    Hello Polly,
Thanks for the nice review on Jason White’s lury scam of taking surveys at home…I myself have been trying to earn money online since a year ago..To be honest , I earned around 600$ commissions with a site called MyEmailMentor.com.. of course paying 47$ per month as monthly fees( even then 120~140$ remains as profit…not bad though..!! ). It was started last june by a person called Bobby. Me and my wife were very happy making 7$~8$ each on daily basis by doing nothing…We tried to payout our 600$ each this month ..the website is blocked and we cannot access it..What a shit ..!! I
Iam already a member of WA for more than 5 months now.. But don’t have time to access the internet.Do you have any suggestions for me..??

    Regards

Well the only suggestion I can give would be this: If you want to reap the full benefits of Wealthy Affiliate, it is imperative you find the time to access the internet. After all, you can’t make money from the internet unless you spend some time working on it.

Not to sound like a dummy but, I don’t understand how you make money by creating your own web-page. If you have a product you make or a service to offer, that makes sense. But your basically inviting people to join regardless of what they have to offer. for example if you were a stay at home mom, how will they make money by creating a web-site? Please help me understand.

    Reply
    1. Polly Post author

Okay, that is a fair question. Stay at home moms have much to offer. Obviously they are passionate about taking care of their children, providing a good home for them, nutritious meals, back to school situations(i.e. clothes, school supplies etc.) The possibilities are endless.

If you personally do not have products/services to offer, you help sell someone else’s products or services. This is called affiliate marketing. So.. WA teaches(better than anyone else) how to become an affiliate marketer. By doing this you can choose which products/services to offer to others like yourself. There are many stay at home moms. You have a commonality with them and can offer them the benefit of things you do with your children and household to others like you.

I have read about Wealthy Affiliates. You get 7 days of real support, then it costs you $46 to continue to get the good support you need to build your business. How is this any different from alluring someone in to just then have to pay money?

    Reply
    1. Polly Post author

The biggest difference is that Wealthy Affiliate doesn’t try to sell you something sight unseen like all these other scammers. Anyone is offered a 7-day free-trial to see if affiliate marketing is something they are interested in.

These other scams make you pay up front and don’t deliver. Then you have to raise the roof to get your damn money back!!

How do you label one offer as a scam only to push another “scam?” You are in the wrong business and if you are not careful the few hundred dollars you’ve made as a marketer are going to be swept away in legal fees!

    Reply
    1. Polly Post author

Please, Mr. Richasshit, allow me to define the word scam.
A fraudulent scheme performed by a dishonest individual, group, or company in an attempt obtain money or something else of value. Scams traditionally resided in confidence tricks, where an individual would misrepresent themselves as someone with skill or authority

Which is exactly what “Jason White” does when he calls himself the “King of Surveys”. Not to mention the fact that “he” misrepresents what actually happens in the online survey world I know because I have been there. Also if you look at the check, you will see that it is not, I repeat not an actual check. In fact it is a sample check and probably void. That is clearly misrepresentation with intent to profit.

Then there’s the $50 cash bonus which is in fact not actual cash but a gift card of some sort with a $50 value.

And don’t forget about the disclaimer. This is included to limit the amount of lawsuits filed against them.

So in no way am I unsure of the fact that this is indeed a scam. I am not offering a scam in return. Wealthy Affiliate is a legitimate place to learn how to become an effective and successful affiliate marketer and in no way do I misrepresent that.

I notice you are pretty much anonymous Mr. Richasshit and if you have so much money why do you even care and why are you even reading my review? As to the “few hundred dollars” I’ve made that is my business and none of yours.

So if I were you I would watch what you say because that last little bit sounded a lot like a threat and that is against the law.

I hope you didn’t pay the $69.00. Nine times out of ten these things have a money back guarantee. Jason White Take Surveys for Cash just so happens to have a no questions asked money back guarantee. Go to Terms and Conditions and scroll down to the third subheading “Cancellation”This is the proof in their own policy. That way when they start asking you questions(and trust me they will) you can gently remind them of this fact. Next got to this link, sign in and write an email requesting cancellation of your membership. have the receipt you received when purchasing the product at hand because you can only receive a refund with that piece of information.Just remember to be firm and don’t back down.

Dear Polly, let me ask you…. months ago I almost joined WA. I know you do get a commission when I join from your links so I feel no pressure to join or not join. I am a very hard worker. I work as a plumbing apprentice 60 hours a week, have classes 3 nights a week, landscape 15 hours a week, meanwhile I also prepare for a wedding in two weeks… I am chaoticly busy. Always. Soon it will slow down a bit though… I always wanted to get involved with Internet “stuff”/ “success”. I would like to know what you did you see your own success. I’m looking for some long term cash (meaning I acknowledge it doesn’t come overnight). I see many family members around me that became millionaires from patience and strength of knowledge and commitment. I too strive for that (ex. Plumbing – my father started from the bottom and now is a full blown business). Thank you for your response.

My goodness Sam, do you ever sleep? I became involved in affiliate marketing because I need to stay at home with my mother. She is retired and living on a fixed income. Her short-term memory is not what it once was and it is important I stay close by.

This provided my motivation and determination. The secret to my success? Hard work and determination. I am always, always online. Many people think that working online is easy and a snap and that they will become millionaires overnight. Unfortunately when they begin their online journeys, they more often than not become ensnared in one or many of the online schemes that abound on the internet. And one of them is this take surveys for cash crapola.

I will tell you this… surveys are a waste of time, especially for someone like you who has many irons in the fire. I used to be like that. I worked all the time, sweating endlessly to become successful in my chosen career. (I was a chef for many years) I am tired of that, and my body was tired.

This is something which can be accomplished at your own pace. Start off a little at a time. Work at it consistently. It takes patience, hard work and confidence that what you are doing will eventually pay off. That is what I kept telling myself.(Still do) No pressure to join. Why don’t you take a little time, settle into your new marriage a bit(congrats by the way) and then try out a free starter-membership.

I know this reply is a bit wordy, but I hope that within it I was able to answer your question.

Many blessings upon your upcoming nuptials.

Sorry I took so long to answer Samuel. I just really don’t understand your question. But I definitely am not into wholesale product selling.
