Excel Cash Flow Scam – This One Smells familiar

Excel  Cash Flow Scam

excel cash flow scam

excel cash flow scam

I woke up this morning and started checking all my emails and I found what you see above in my junk email. ( I always check it because you never know what might slip through ) Anyway, I became intrigued so I clicked through, wondering just what kind of scam I was going to run into this time. Turns out it was something I haven’t heard of before.

excel

This program was  “created” by a woman who goes by the name of Cami White. or Debbie Jones, depending on which Excel Cash Flow page you are linked to. Have a look at these screen captures and tell me what you think.

excel cash flow scam excel cash flow scam

I wonder who she really is.

This is a scam that has been around for quite a while and has been marketed under several different names. Work at Home Institute, Work at Home University,  Home Income Source, and Work@Home. Those are only the four I know about. I can guarantee when this scam generates enough people exposing this program for what it really is, it will go away and pop up under a different name. They all begin the same way.

Fake News Expose

excel cash flow scam

The headline tells about a single mother who made it big working online after quitting her full-time job. ( It is always a single mother or woman with a family ) Logos of popular news stations are always featured to try and make this story more credible.

excel7 It is merely a deceptive form of advertising which is used to convince the reader of the legitimacy of the product advertised in order to generate sales.

The FTC ( Federal Trade Commission ) has actually filed 10 complaints in six federal courts against another company for using this type of false advertising and is asking for a permanent ban to prohibit the use of such practices. Read more

 The “Job”

excel10

. This is a misconception because the implication is made that you will actually be working for these companies. Not true.  In reality you will be working for yourself as an affiliate of the company. By the way, they are not desperate, merely expanding their businesses online.

The term for this is  “search engine link posting”. Prospects  are led  to believe you can work only one hour a day  ( or as many hours a day you desire )  posting links at the rate of $15 per link.  Implying you will receive payment for every link you post.

excel cash flow scam

The fact is you they don’t pay you to post the link.  Payment is rendered only if a purchase is generated as a result of the link.  They fail to mention  you end up paying for the ad space where the links are posted.

excel16

?????????????????  I’m not even going to offer a comment on this because I don’t even know what it means. How does one post links offline?  Okay so I’m going to comment after all. I actually launched a Google search “how do I post links offline” there was absolutely zero information on this phenomena. Because there is no such thing. There is absolutely no way to post links offline. Ridiculous. Seriously, if anyone out there knows how to post a link offline,  TELL ME!! I have absolutely no clue how to go about it, and I would really like to know.

“Testimonials”

Also fake. In fact there is one testimonial, in particular, I would like to show you. Remember, the name of this program is called Excel Cash Flow, right? Check this out:

excel cash flow scamI would like to direct your attention first to the highlighted area. If you’ll notice, her and her husband are using a program called Home Income Source. They didn’t notice this little gaff when they used this testimonial did they? Also direct your attention to the circled area. One time membership fee indeed! Once you have paid the fee, It is riddled with up-sells and promises of an internet marketing specialist to give you aid. It is another way they try to get into your wallet/purse.

Check out these screen captures. One is from Home Income Source, The other is from Excel Cash Flow. More fake news, this time in video form.

excel cash flow scamexcel cash flow scam

I was involved with a scam very similar to this one and they too had a marketing specialist I was told to call, who was supposed to “help” me. All this woman did was ask  about my credit. I told her I had no credit because I paid cash for everything. She hung up on me. So much for my help huh?

Please don’t be fooled by these scam artists. They only want to line their pockets with your hard earned cash. Turn around, run far, run fast and don’t look back!!

True Affiliate Marketing

get trained

This so-called program is loosely based on affiliate marketing. True affiliate marketing is actually a legal, genuine, honest way to make money online. I can tell you more about it if you are interested. I refuse to blow sunshine up your skirt/pant legs and promise you immediate riches.

I will tell you the potential in affiliate marketing is limitless. depending on your dedication, determination, willingness to work ( yes it’s work ) but it is work that will bring about rewards for your efforts.. Unlike the Excel Cash Flow system.  Hard work there will only cause wasted time and wasted cash.  However, it isn’t something you can just dive into. It is a skill that needs to be learned.

You don’t even have to be interested in affiliate marketing. The WA platform will give you the skills you need to market your own products/services if that is your desire.

To that end I would like to extend my personal invitation and invite you to a place where you can learn the skills you need to be successful online. It is called Wealthy Affiliate. The best online marketing platform in the world bar none.  Read more about Wealthy Affiliate in my review. Make an informed decision about the right way to make money online

Well I gave excel $150. Then they called me back the next day asking me my financial goals and connected me with there one on one coach Adam. Who asked for an investment of 2 to 3k into this program. I told him if he was so confident in his business then why not pull a quarter of my earnings that I will be getting with this program. He stumbled and kept repeating that if I was serious about making money I wouldnt have to think about investing this into my future. I asked for 24 hrs to think on it. And again out came investment, time is money why wait and if I was serious.

You’d mentioned how one would post links offline. Despite the fact that the opportunity you communicate in regards to on this page is a scam (which I’d have to do my own ‘inspection’ to determine whether your claim is really true), it is indeed possible to post links offline. It’s as simple as obtaining business cards, flyers or anything of the like and posting them in laundromats, on advertisement boards at places such as grocery stores and such. One could even send out postcards/flyers in the mail.

      Hey Brian,
Man am I glad you posted that comment . You have no idea how much that keeps me up at night. seriously. And now that you mention it I think I just might do some of those things. You know get a little free traffic for my website. Anyway about my review, feel free to check this product out. They did give me my money back, but I’m pretty sure you’re not going to make any money off of that product.(If you do please get back with me and show me how it’s done)It’s just that there are so many copy-cat programs. They just take the same program and give it a different name. Check out some of the links that I posted in my article Excel cash flow scam. then actually go to these web sites and check them out. You should check out my article about link posting scams. I talk a lot about the Hydra scam which is what I like to call this particular type of “system”. anyway thanks for your comment. Wondering how to post links offline isn’t going to keep me up at night anymore.

Polly. Im interested but I don’t have a product and I wouldn’t know what to write about. Does this course tell you how to find something to talk about.Do they already have a product I can try to market at first till I find something of my own to market. I need to work from home but I don’t have the cash to buy into anything. Everything I researched seems to be a scam.

That is the beauty of affiliate marketing!!! You don’t need to have a product to sell. You will be helping other companies sell their products/services receiving a commission in return. Please read this article. It will help you to understand better

Yes. You can become an affiliate of WA and Jaaxy until you figure out what you wish to do.

Too bad I didnt see this before I got sucked into that Excel Cash Flow. I’m a full time student/new mom/nurse but I am not just making enough money for rent and tuition so hey I thought this seems feasible. When I signed up it says declined transaction. At that point I knew already that there was something fishy about it so sure enough I checked my credit card account and a charge for $97 was posted and a second attempt to charge me was also posted. But i think my credit card knew it wasnt right so it didnt let them re-charge a second time. When I tried to call them the representative said that she couldnt find my name on the system and that she would give my information to “higher ups” and they would contact me. However, she later changed her mind and said I need to call back after 24 hours to find out whats going on? Wtf? Why does it need 24 hours to take to find out whats going on? They are scammers is whats going on! I went ahead and reported them to FTC and my credit card said they will dispute the charges once it goes through. I cant believe what people do just to scam and get money!!! Dont get sucked in!!!

At least you have taken steps to make sure your money is safe. Double charging is a new one. Jeez these people will stop at nothing. You can report internet scams to The Internet Crime Complaint Center (IC3) as well they handle all kinds of stuff like that.

I signed up online to make money from home, the advertising stated that a payment of 97.00 would be required so I signed up, then it prompted me to pay $19.97 to learn how. Paid a total of 116.97 this transaction occurred on 7/22/2015. There was a 60 day refund guarantee. On August 25th I called into the customer service center and requested a refund, I was told it would be refunded to my credit card in 5 to 7 days. 10 days later I called back asking about my refund, I was told they were unable to process the refund to my credit card and a check had been mailed to me on Sept. 1, I should be receiving with in 5 to 7 days. On September 15th I called in again and was told that the Sept 1 check was stopped and that a check was processed on September 11th, I should receive in 7 to 10 days. On September 21 I called in, was told that the check was not mailed out spoke with a supervisor Jonnie employee number 0142 and she said the check was not mailed that they are refunding the money to my credit card with in 24 hours. Today I called in to again inquire and was hung up on, when I tried to call back I got music then silence and was hung up on three times, when I called back with my called id blocked it went right through. I filed a complaint about the business with the FTC this morning. The gentleman I spoke with today would not let me talk to a Supervisor or Manager, he indicated to me that the check was processed on Sept 11, and I just need to wait. This is the 4th story I was told. I asked why was I told it would be processed on my credit card, all he said was he was sorry and I should receive the check from the 11th, that it takes 7 to 10 days. I informed him that I was told the check did not go out, and it is over 7 to 10 days. He said to me a Manager would call me back today and then basically hung up on me. I’m not holding my breath for a Manager to call me.

Geez that was rough huh? Thank you for telling your story. Hopefully, it will keep others from doing the same.Reporting them to the FTC was the best thing you could have done considering how badly you’ve been treated.Seems to me all the runaround they gave you was merely a delaying tactic waiting for the 60 days to expire.Shady Business tactics. The Klingons have a saying ” A klingon who kills without showing his face, has no honor”. I think the same thing can apply to business people who hide behind others to conduct their shady dealings. No honor whatsoever. Perhaps you can call your credit card company and let them handle the situation? Justa suggestion. Sorry for what you went through.

They try to give you the runaround. When you call them, they have no choice. They do guarantee your money back, and it is against the law for them to deny you.Don’t put out any more money for their upsells. That you can’t get back.

Besides the fact that they teach you how to build a website from the ground up, and everything else including directing traffic to your website, you will be taught how to become a successful affiliate marketer.Affiliate marketing is basically advertising products other than your own. If a sale is generated because of a link you posted, you will receive commissions for that sale. Sometimes up to %75. This is perfect for you if you don’t want to sell products. Read my review of Wealthy Affiliate and join up with your free starter membership. Then you will be able to see for yourself how it will benefit you.

Fortunately, I didn’t have the money to spend to buy a website.I was able to get my $97 back ( why are all these scams $97) When I called for the one on one, she asked me about my credit. ?????????? I told her I paid cash for everything so I had no credit history, she hung up on me. They will give you your $97 back, but skip emailing and go straight to the phone call. Be adamant, because they will try to talk you out of it. I don’t know If you will be able to get the money back from the website. I hope so. But I think you will have to deal with GVO on that matter. Wealthy Affiliate will not take advantage of you. We only want to help. That is why you are given a free trial. We will teach you the skills you need to be successful online. Customer support:

          null

My suggestion is that you call these people. It has been my experience that they take at least 2 days to answer their email, and the first response will naturally be for them to talk you out of it. his could take days. I am sure that is not what you want. If they give you a hard time when you call them, remind them that in their advertisement for the program, they have specifically stated a “no questions asked no hassle money back guarantee.

          null

Remember you will have to be very firm with them because they will try to talk you out of it. If they still give you a hard time, mention to them that if they refuse to give your money back you will Call the Attorney General Consumer Affairs Department as well as the Federal Trade Commission and file a complaint. If they still don’t produce a refund, make good on your words and file the complaints. I don’t really think it will go that far though. There is a link to the FTC in the article above in case you need it. If you are really interested in working online, I would like to suggest you try the program at Wealthy Affiliate I guarantee we won’t harm you in any way. You will receive a seven-day free trial, to take the time to get to know us and try out the program. You won’t even need a credit card to get started. And you won’t be alone. Hello Jose,
Pleasure to meet you. Thank goodness you paid attention to your instincts. I am positive you would have regretted it.( Most do) They will not teach you anything you need to know. Don’t buy into anything that looks like it either. Sorry to hear about your job loss, some people just do not appreciate what they have until it’s gone. From what I understand about customs brokerage, You have to pass a test in order to obtain a license to operate as a broker. There is nothing that says you have to work for somebody.Obviously you have looked to the internet to make money. It can be done just not with all the gimmicky schemes everybody seems to want to sell(instead of using it themselves) With your lengthy experience and your vast knowledge of your chosen field of work, You can strike out on your own by creating and running your own online business. Wealthy Affiliate (read my review ) can help you with that. While it is true, WA specializes in affiliate marketing, what they really specialize in is helping people get started with their own online business. A lot goes into marketing online. You have a special set of skills that are highly marketable. So you wouldn’t need to sell anything as much as provide a service you have been trained to do. WA will show you how to create a website from the ground up, and teach you the skills needed to drive traffic to your website.(What good is a store with no customers right?) The best part is that your initial investment will cost you nothing. $0.( no credit card required either ) WA provides anyone who would like to learn, with a free one week trial membership. It is called the free starter membership. You will receive ten free lessons, two free websites with free hosting, as well as all the tools and training needed to succeed. I think your best bet is to go into business for yourself. This way you won’t have to dial it down and start all over with something new. This will merely be a location change. And you will be you own boss. You will not experience any kind of financial loss if you give Wealthy Affiliate a try and see what we have to offer. I am confident you will find what you are looking for. So …. please accept my personal invitation for a free starter membership and learn to operate your own online business. I will be there to meet you inside and help you every step of the way. Hope this was helpful to you.

Hi there, I came across the “excel cash flow,” system (scam) recently and had spent some decent hours trying to decide if it was right for me. I am thankful that I continued to do my own research into it, and even more grateful that I took the time to read your review. I am very interested in WA and my question is, during the first week, in all honesty, how much time should I set aside to take this training seriously? I’m a planner, I like to have my days planned the night before (if one can do that with 4 kids) but this is another reason I am so interested, my husband works very hard to provide for us, but by months end, we’re struggling to make our dollar stretch. If you can offer any insight, it’ll be much appreciated. Thank you – Jacky

Cool to hear from you.Good thing you continued to research. It is my pleasure and honor to provide this service. The good news is you should be able to get your money back. The other good news is, I have an answer for you. With four kids I can see how you would need to plan your day.(and night). The first week of training is relatively easy.Setting aside perhaps two hours every night(or day) for the first week should be sufficient for you to accomplish your goals.( I went through the training lickety -split but then I am not married and have no children.) So it would be great to see you there and I gladly offer my services to help you in any way I possibly can. Hope to see you there.

      Hey Bob,
I am sorry you feel that way. However let me take a moment to provide you with a definition of the word scam.( definition provideD by Merriam Webster free dictionary online.)
: to deceive and take money from (someone)

: to get (something, such as money) by deceiving someone And here is another one. 1. a stratagem for gain; a swindle ( Free Dictionary by Farlex ) In this case i highlighted the word swindle. Here’s why: SWINDLE- use deception to deprive (someone) of money or possessions. ( Definition courtesy of Google Search )
Now here is the point I am making: These scams advertise themselves with fraudulent deceptive methods. i.e. Fake testimonials, false news articles and the implication that these programs have been featured on the news with fake news videos and the application of logos belonging to prominent news and television stations ( A practice in the process of being banned by the FTC ) Then there is the issue of the disclaimer every single one of these types of scams always provide. They provide a zero guarantee of any profitable results. In fact the disclaimer and the money back guarantee are the only reasons they are allowed to stay in business. So let’s compare this with statements I have made in my article. I do not make claims to immediate riches and income. The potential in affiliate marketing is limitless. I know individuals in the Wealthy Affiliate community who generate over $6000 monthly from their websites. But they worked for it. I tell you that work is involved, not make promises of easy money if you buy this program. You can’t ” buy ” this program. I am not trying to “sell” anything. I am merely providing you with the information necessary to take advantage of an opportunity which teaches the skills necessary to become successful online, not a get rich quick scheme that is for sale at the low, low price of $97. The program I offer has a free trial period that costs absolutely nothing, you don’t even have to provide a credit card so that WA can bill you on the down low. The Excel Cash Flow System does not provide any sort of free trial because they know if you try to use their “secret” method you will not be convinced of it’s veracity. Why don’t you see for yourself and then form your own opinion based on what you have experienced? Thank you for stopping by and offering a comment.

Ha, ha ! I am totally flattered to meet a fan. I am pleased you liked my review. I think it is easier for people to have visuals so they can really see the depth of the deception in scams like this. There oughta be a law against just sending random emails to emailboxes. I have been working from home for almost two years now, And it is great. Anybody can learn how. You just need the right teacher to help you get started.. Thanks, Ms. Jammie. Drop by anytime.

Thank you for this review, I almost bought this program but got a little nervous when I did not see 1 review or the company on the BBB. I have a full time job but also looking to have a part time at home. Do you have any businesses that you would recommend?

      Hey Tasha,
Good to hear from you.It is my pleasure to provide reviews like this to help people like yourself. You are very welcome. I am pretty sure you will never find a program like this one rated by the BBB. It’s a fly by night and as soon as the warning blast goes out on the internet it will shed it’s skin and go by a different name. I can most definitely point you in the right direction. I know a program that will help you. It is perfect for a part timer like you Tasha. Wealthy Affiliate.( Read about Wealthy Affiliate ) The program here will provide you with ten free lessons , two free websites ( with free hosting ) and much more to help you get started online at home.I would be honored if you would accept my personal invitation so you can get started right away. I was scammed and someone signed me up! I thankfully have notifications on my card to stop all unknown purchases! This is ridiculous because now they know where I live…my email and my address. Thanks to whoever did this…

      Hey Lynnie,
How’s it going? I’m really glad you stopped by.I think it’s great you have an interest in affiliate marketing. One of the reasons I started in this business is because I had no money. AT. ALL! I was looking to make money not spend it.So here is what I did. Wealthy Affiliate offers anyone who desires to learn, a free starter membership.at the end of the first seven days they are offered the chance to join premium membership at a discounted rate of $19 for the first month. Then after that it is $47 a month. But there are many amazing things to be gained by going premium.(Check out my review!!) However some people cannot afford this and so WA has made an affiliate program available to starter members. Everyone is welcome to stay on with the starter membership, and take advantage of the affiliate program, Spending $0 and earning while they learn. So there you go . A free starter membership at WA makes it possible to get started earning with no investment. I hope this helps!! Come back and we will talk some more.

      Hey James,
Sorry to hear you bought that program. You should be able to get your money back though. They do that discount thing cause they don’t want you to let go of the bait and get off the hook. ( Sorry watching “Wicked Tuna” right now ). With all the crap out there it is hard to tell what can be a legitimate opportunity. It can be extremely frustrating. I do however have an excellent recommendation for you. The program offered at Wealthy Affiliate is excellent. It is also where I got my start with the FREE STARTER MEMBERSHIP It won’t cost you a dime, and gives you the opportunity to figure out if this is what you are looking for. Check out my review, read about my experiences, and then if you want to give it a shot, Please accept my personal invitation for your free starter membership. If you have any further questions feel free to contact me anytime. You know how to find me.

I also received the Cami White Excel Cash Flow promotional email only a few days ago. I so wanted a home-based internet job so I read with eagerness. I even asked my son ( Intel ) to help me decide. I ran Google searches on “Cami White,” “Cami White author,” Amazon “books by Cami White” and found nothing but “camisoles!” I then searched for “Cami White link posting” and finally came up with ONLY ONE – your commentary. I’m so relieved. I told myself I wasn’t even going to be upset if I lost the “fee,” I just didn’t want to be labeled “STUPID” when I tried so hard to make an intelligent decision. I was well aware of affiliate links and so thought this was headed in a legitimate direction. Thanks for pointing out the other guises for the same Scam. Pheww!

      Hey Sue,
If only more individuals such as yourself would exercise due diligence and conduct a little research before committing to “programs” like this a lot of problems can be avoided. I ran the same searches for “Cami White” in preparation for writing this article and found the same results: Camisoles. It seems like someone must’ve been shopping when they came up with this name. A little imagination please ( or not so much ). It does my heart good to know I was able to help you make an informed choice. It really burns me up to see good people taken advantage of when all they want to do is make an honest living online. To that end I try to point my readers to a safe place where they can learn the skills necessary to become successful with their own online business, instead of buying into some old tired, and reinvented scam. Don’t let your guard down for one second Sue, and you will be just fine. Thanks for stopping by!!

I don’t know if I should laugh or cry by these people. Don’t they own any kind of respect for others nor themselves? It’s great to see people taking the time to warn about these scams and exploit them before they can do any serious damage. Keep up the good work!

I know right? What gets me is that these people are so ridiculously blatant, I can’t believe people fall for these things. Sadly it still happens. I really love to chew these guys up and spit them out and if I can help just one person avoid the pain, waste of time and possible financial losses, then I feel like I have accomplished what I have set out to do. I also recommend a place where they can get the proper training to reach their online goals. Thanks Tommy. Pop in again anytime!!
