My Story
Hmmmm…my story. Well last time I wrote a page about me, I got too long and involved, you know starting from when I was born until the present day. I’m sure it was way too much information and hardly relevant to why I decided to work online as an affiliate marketer. So this time, I’ll just hit the highlights.
My story begins around 2011. I worked aa a chef at a caterung company. Actually food service was my career for like 25 yrs. I enjoyed my work and Liked the people I worked with. However I have a minor personality glitch. Once I have had my fill of whatever bullshit my employers would throw at me, I would quit my job with no warning and usually in a fit of anger.
Eventually this type of behavior catches up to a person. While young, I could get any job, anytime. That no longer holds true for me at the aga of 52. Nobody really wants an old person working for them. Besides, all the physical activity required eventually takes it’s toll.
Anyway I quit my job and I stay with my mom. For about two years I didn’t do anything except eat, sleep and play on my computer. I love the internet. So no income coming in. I was not pulling my weight around here and my mama was about to tell me to get a job. I didn’t want to get a job.
My mom is at a point in her life where she needs someone to help her with stuff. I needed to stay home with her so if I was gonna have to work, it had to be from home. I turned to the internet and now I am working online as an affiliate marketer.
I have heard it said: Figure out something you love to do. If you can figure out how to get someone to pay you for it, you’ll never work a day in your life. I shoulda done this a long time ago. Live and learn huh?
It’s Not Easy As It Looks
Prior to actually trying to work online, I was under(way under)the mistaken belief that it would be easy and I would soon be rich. I got slapped pretty hard a couple of times before I finally found out about affiliate marketing. It wouldn’t really be so hard if not for all the get rich quick, make thousands of $$$$$ without little to no effort and your run of the mill scammers popping up all over the place.
It was a difficult journey to finally find an honest way to make a buck online. I ran into a lot of deadends and blew up a few email accounts along the way. I became frustrated and started to think I was wasting my time. That’s when I finally found someone to teach all aboiut affiliate marketing.
Over the course of my tenure here, I have heard from all kinds of people who were just like me. Due to an unforeseen circumstance, find it has become necessary to bo able to earn income from their home. Many of them have been burned(some more than once)by one scam or another and by the time they end up here, they’re full of suspicion and doubt. I was the same way. The only difference was I had no money(I mean zip.)and no credit card. Can’t spend what you don’t have.
Hopefully, the information provided here, will help others wade throughtthe mire and come out with as few scratches as possible.
My Mission Statement
I believe with all my heart that affiliate marketing is the wave of the future. More and more people are turning to the internet as a source of income..
My purpose is to provide information on the best way to obtain that goal. The internet is a wondrous thing almost alive as it evolves and grows. It can also be a very dangerous place if you happen to find yourself on the wrong(virtual)side of town. My job is to keep that from happening and help others learn to make money online as an affiliate marketer.
